Kung Fury: Street Rage App Reviews

I love the film but this app is too slow to play on an iPad 3. My iPhone 6 Plus plays the game well but on my iPad 3, the game lags so much that it is unplayable.

Im huge fan of 80s nostalgia and I absolutely loved the movie ! The game almost entirely mirrors the movie and was developed very well. My only complaint would be the very limited versatility of the game. A thumb joystick would have been nice to move around more or jump. Didnt like having only two buttons to do everything.

I cant believe people are whining about having to pay for the updated content. A) the movie, which was awesome in its own right, is free to watch B) This game was a piece of love as an offshoot of the movie, and also completely free. So why, oh why, would people not want to support this? Oh well.....I only have one ask, and thats an all-in-one IAP so I can get everything in one shot. Thank You Hello There, keep on rockin! EDIT: Chapter 2 is impossible. Been trying to beat it for a week :) Maybe bring the difficulty down just a tad. Id love to get through the whole story ;)

Classic game feel. Puts your timing to the test. To those complaining about it being too hard, this is exactly what 8 and 16 bit games were like, practice till youve mastered it. Only thing Id complain about, are the controls being too simple, but what can you expect from a phone app.

Love the new story mode! I think the simple controls would lend themselves well to the Siri remote on the new Apple TV, or maybe even allow MFI controllers for co-op?

The app crashes

I am nearly obsessed with this easy to learn/hard to master game. The story mode is worth the money to be able to play as each of the characters (not sure its worth money for each character in endless though). The characters themselves are similar but diverse enough in mechanics to be fresh, interesting challenges that I love to conquer. There are only two flaws I can find in this app. 1) The lack of any sort of settings. I cant alter the music or sfx volume, which should be a given and is highly frustrating in a game of this caliber. And 2) A pause button. If I want to continue a level, but I receive a text or notification or become otherwise distracted, there isnt much I can do but give up the level or hope that I didnt lag enough to get hit when I resume. These two problems are small, but seem like silly things for a game to leave out in todays mobile gaming world.

You must first watch the movie. Its free in HD on YouTube. Then play the game! Its designed for mobile and the combat works similarly to Fatal Fury or the Steam PC version of one finger death punch. The combat is very satisfying and the whole 16 bit era scan lines and pixels really go well with the game. I havent seen any lag or crashes. Im using the iPhone 6 running iOS 9.2.1 The IAP is pretty fair. I paid $2 to dump the ads and I purchased the characters for the endless mode for $3 more and the $3 which unlocked the entire story mode. Between the movie, which was free, and this game, $8 is a steal for all of this awesome entertainment! I cant believe people complain. Thank you devs for a great movie and a fun game. I hope you add more content. Ill keep buying :)

This is exactly what we needed after the release of the film. It keeps me excited for things to come and is very addictive.

I liked the YouTube video. This app needs a joystick and buttons. It is fun to play. Nice update with the story and endless mode.

Game requires much concentration despite simplicity. This is good. Runs smooth. Get the characters and the story mode, I thoroughly suggest it. Background music is superb.

Its half the game. Which is already perfect so the awesome 80s MUSIC makes it BEYOND perfect. And that story mode. So - wait for it - PERFECT. The perfect upgrade to an already perfect game. Deserves a perfect review. This review.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME ITS SO RETRO AND DIFFICULT AT TIMES WHICH MAKES ME LOVE IT EVEN MORE! I RECOMMEND THAT EVERYONE GIVE IT A TRY!
